Qualification and Experience:

Category 1

Must hold a post-graduate fellowship, Ph.D., or no less than a Master's degree from an HEC/PMDC recognized university or institution.

At least 20 years of experience in any university/degree-awarding institute/college, including serving as Vice Chancellor, Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dean, Chairperson, Registrar, or Principal for at least 10 years in managerial, financial, or academic leadership positions. Alternatively, held BPS-17 or equivalent and above positions in a national or international private/public sector organization.

A BPS-21 or above cadre officer (PAS/EX-PCS/PSS/PMS) holding a Master's degree from an HEC recognized university or institution. Cadre officers in service will apply based on their experience and, if selected as Vice Chancellor, must resign or seek retirement from their respective cadre service.

Category 3

Candidate possessing a Master's degree in relevant fields, representing intellectual/academic/think-tank leadership, civil society, research, or executive leadership with at least 15 years of experience, including at least 10 publications in HEC-recognized journals
