Qualification & Experience

i. Bachelor /16 years of education in IT, Computer science duly recognized by HEC.

ii. Professional level certification in Oracle Database will be preference.

iii. Certification in Database Security will get preference.

iv. Must have 08 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in a comparable Position of Database Administrator in Banks/FIs.

v. Must have Experience in database performance tuning, query optimization, and troubleshooting. Strong knowledge of database management systems such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or MySQL.

vi. Hands on Experience of Backup & Disaster Recovery technologies using Conventional, RMAN, Active Data-guard and Golden-Gate etc.

vii. Should have experience of Installation, Upgrading, Patching management & Security of Oracle Database Single & RAC instances.

viii. Should have hands on experience of installation & administration of MS SQL Server & MySQL databases.

ix. Should have Hands on Linux Administration and Shell Scripting. • Having a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving.

x. Having experience in Banking/Financial Institution is a plus.
