Qualification & Experience

i. Bachelor / 16 years of education in IT, Computer science duly recognized by HEC.

ii. Candidates with VMWare Certification VCAP-DCV will be preferred.

iii. At-least 8 -10 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in a comparable position in Banks/FIs.

iv. Strong knowledge and experience in VMware virtualization technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, vSAN, and related components.

v. Should have hands-on experience of Upgrading, Patching and installation of ESXi host, vCenter and other management tools.

vi. Should have hands-on experience of system hardening, CIS and other security Standards related to VMware infrastructure.

vii. Should have hands-on experience of VMware management tools (vCenter, vRealize Operations, VMware Configuration Manager, Site Recovery Manager).

viii. Should have hands-on experience of administration, configuration and management of Blade Servers, FC switches, network & Storage virtualization.

ix. Hands on Experience of Disaster Recovery technologies using SRM & VSphere Replication along with administration tools vRealize Operations, VMware Configuration Manager etc.

x. Knowledge of any enterprise level backup solution & LTO Tape library administration & management.

xi. Having a logical and analytical approach to problem-solving;

xii. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
