Qualification & Experience

i. Bachelor / 16 years of education in Computer Science/IT duly recognized by HEC.

ii. Additional related certifications will be preferred.

iii. Minimum 8 to 10 years post qualification experience as a QA Engineer, with a focus on testing in Banks/FIs.

iv. Experience in testing internet banking and mobile banking applications.

v. Proficient in using Microsoft TFS for test management and defect tracking.

vi. Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies.

vii. Knowledge of banking systems and processes.

viii. Hands on experience of testing of financial applications and its integrations

ix. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple testing tasks and deliverables.

x. Strong knowledge of software testing principles and methodologies.

xi. Proficiency in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

x. Experience in executing manual and automated tests.

xi. Familiarity with testing web and mobile applications across different browsers and devices.

xii. Understanding of performance testing concepts and tools.

xiii. Ability to analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

xiv. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.

xv. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.

xvi. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

xvii. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

xviii. Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.
