Qualification & Experience

i. Bachelor / 16 years of education in IT, Computer science duly recognized by HEC.

ii. Candidate will prefer having a valid certification in any of them : CCIE(R&S) / HCIE (R&S).

iii. At-least 10 years of post-qualification relevant professional experience in a comparable position in Banks/FIs.

iv. Must have 7 years’ experience of network administration, configuring and managing network devices.

v. Proficiency in network technologies, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.

vi. Strong understanding of network protocols and services (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

vii. Experience in configuring and managing network devices, such as routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.

viii. Knowledge of network security best practices and experience implementing security controls.

ix. Solid hands-on experience with Multi-vendor devices e.g. Core routers (Cisco/Huawei/Juniper ASR series), Core Switches (Nexus/Huawei cloud Engines/Juniper series), NG-Firewalls (Fort iGATE/Huawei/Cisco/Juniper). load balancers, WAN accelerators, SSL Orchestrators, video conferencing solutions etc for mission critical networks with HA deployment.

x. Should have advanced knowledge of NG-Firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and Network Virtualization – with strong abilities to architect solutions that enhances/maintains the reliability and stability of the network, and strengthens the traffic flow of data throughout global network.

xi. Hands on experience of LAN/WAN, routing protocols BGP, OSPF, Traffic engineering, L2/L3 VPN, MPLS, SSL/IPSEC, SDN, SD-WAN, multicast & class of service.

xii. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

xiii. Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools.

xiv. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
